What is an OUF Passport and why should you register for one?
The OUF Passport is a bar code that is sent to you via email, after you register online. You take it to the OUF on your mobile device or on paper, and get it scanned at the university booths and presentation rooms of your choice.

An OUF Passport is the easiest way for you to share your contact information with the universities you’re interested in, so they can send you more information, including:

  • Campus tours and open houses
  • Scholarships and awards
  • Athletics
  • University News

Here’s how:

  1. Register online with your name and email address.
  2. Receive a personalized OUF Passport with a bar code by email.
  3. Bring your OUF Passport to the OUF on your mobile device or as a paper printout or both. Tip: Save it as your screensaver for easy access at the OUF.
  4. For further information from a university at the OUF, ask a university representative to scan your OUF Passport. This way, the university can contact you directly.

Save time and register in advance so you can visit university booths and presentation rooms as soon as you get to the Fair!

  1. Do I need an OUF Passport to attend the OUF?
    You do not need an OUF Passport to attend the OUF; however, it will make the experience easier. If you want to receive additional information from a university, you can quickly scan your OUF Passport and move on to the next booth or presentation room. If you don’t have an OUF Passport, you will have to manually share your contact details at each individual university booth or presentation room you want to receive more information from.

  2. What do I do with my OUF Passport?
    Print it out or save it on your mobile device and take it to the OUF with you. If you are interested in getting more information from a university, simply scan your OUF Passport at their booth or presentation room. The university can then contact you directly.

    Yes. However, registering in advance is the best option to ensure you’re ready for the OUF.

  4. Why should I register in advance?
    There are many reasons to register in advance, including:

    • To save time and allow you to visit university booths and presentation rooms the instant you’re inside the doors.
    • You will avoid any last minute web traffic on the OUF Passport registration website.
    • You will receive a reminder email before the OUF with helpful information to plan your day.
    • When you register in advance, you increase your chances to win 1 of 4 $500 pre-paid credit cards!

  5. What information do I need to provide to register for an OUF Passport?
    You will need to provide your name, contact details and indicate your status (e.g., grade 12 student, guidance counsellor, etc.) Date of birth is required, unless you are a parent or guidance counsellor.

  6. How will my OUF Passport registration information be used?
    No one will be able to see or access your contact details except those universities you give your OUF Passport to. For further details about OUF Passport privacy, see the OUF Passport registration website.

  7. Can I change my contact information after I register?
    Yes, as long as your OUF Passport hasn’t been scanned at any university booths/presentation rooms, you can use your email address to log in to the OUF Passport registration website and update your contact information.

  8. I lost my bar code. Can you send it to me?
    You can retrieve your bar code by logging in to the OUF Passport registration website.

    There is no cost to attend the OUF.

    No. Your OUF Passport will work at all university booths and presentation rooms.

  11. Does my parent/guardian need to register for an OUF Passport to attend the OUF with me?
    No. The purpose of the OUF Passport is to allow you to easily provide your contact details to the universities that you’re interested in, so they can send you more information. Your parent/guardian does not need to share his or her contact information with universities unless they are interested in receiving information from the universities too.
